Aerial Application You Can Count On
From crop spraying and spreading to variable rate application and firefighting support, Aircair Aviation helps regional producers get the job done with experience, reliability and practical local knowledge.
Built for the work that matters on the ground
Aircair Aviation is the aerial application arm of the business, based in Moree and operating across one of Australia’s most important agricultural regions. Founded in 1980, the business has built its reputation on dependable service, strong local knowledge and the ability to support a wide range of aerial agricultural work. (Aircair Aviation)
For growers, property owners and agricultural operators, the value is simple. You need an operator who turns up, understands the conditions, and has the capability to keep work moving when timing matters. That is where Aircair has earned long-term trust and repeat business over many years.
Aerial services for modern agriculture
Aerial application remains the core of what Aircair does. The business supports a broad range of agricultural work, including aerial spraying, aerial spreading and variable rate application, with firefighting capability also sitting under the Aircair Aviation banner. (Aircair Aviation)
Aerial spraying
Aircair carries out aerial spraying for a wide range of agricultural needs, helping clients respond quickly and efficiently across large areas. Applications include foliar fertilisers, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, growth regulators and trace elements. (Aircair Aviation)
Aerial spreading
For producers needing coverage across broad acre country, Aircair also provides aerial spreading services for seed, fertiliser and animal baits. This includes aerial sowing and the spreading of solid fertilisers such as urea, MAP, DAP and super phosphate. (Aircair Aviation)
Variable rate application
Using aircraft GPS technology and prescription mapping, Aircair can vary application rates across specific areas rather than treating every part of a paddock the same way. That gives clients a more precise approach where required, with the potential to improve efficiency, reduce over-application and better match inputs to actual field conditions. (Aircair Aviation)
Why operators choose Aircair Aviation
In a competitive aerial agriculture market, experience still matters. Justice’s own description of Aircair’s strengths was blunt and useful: they likely have the most aircraft around the area, they are one of the older operators, they are known for reliability, and they have a lot of return customers.
That translates into real value on the ground:
- a long-established operation founded in 1980
- a strong presence in the Moree region
- broad aerial application capability
- reliable service backed by repeat clients

Reliable support when timing matters
The founding year and Moree base are stated on the current site, and the reliability and return-customer angle comes directly from Justice. (Aircair Aviation)

Firefighting support
Alongside agricultural work, Aircair Aviation also supports firefighting operations. The current site notes that Aircair has worked with the NSW Rural Fire Service as a Call When Needed fixed-wing fire-bombing operator since 2003, and has also cross-hired aircraft and crew in Queensland since 2011. (Aircair Aviation)
Justice was also clear that firefighting is important, but it is not the main commercial marketing focus of this page. It is largely government-driven work, and this section should sit as an important supporting capability rather than the lead message.
Operating from Moree
Aircair operates from two application bases in Moree, giving the business room to support different jobs and manage a substantial aerial application operation. The current site lists both Beela and Krui as application bases, and Justice confirmed that the aerial application side uses two bases because there are too many aircraft for a single location.
